Bernie Burns

Founder

Like many aviation enthusiasts, Bernie found a passion for aviation early in life. "Growing up in New Jersey, I lived underneath Newark Airport's flight path which was the busiest airport in the world at the time. I quickly realized that I would eventually have to find out how those 100 ton machines soared through the air."

Obsessed by the desire to bring his childhood dreams to fruition, he attended Jacksonville University where he would gain all of his pilot certificates. Upon graduation, most followed the path of the airlines. Instead, Bernie chose the path less traveled and pursued a career in private aviation. Prior to launching B2 Aviation, Burns held management and executive positions with CitationAir by Cessna, Flexjet by Bombardier and even polished his culinary skills all in Chicago. Bernie offers a wealth of knowledge to the team on the dynamic landscape of private air travel.

Palita Sriratana

Creative Director

Palita made herself at home in the B2 Aviation after years of working in Chicago’s growing Hip-Hop and Music scene.  She has worked with artists and brands including Childish Gambino, Kendrick Lamar, Spotify and G-Eazy just to name a few. Her work has come full circle at B2 Aviation. Culminating her strengths in building relationships with high profile clients, accessing their needs, and curating out-of-the ordinary experiences.  Hailing from a extensive scientific background and earning her degree in Molecular Cell Biology, Palita prides herself on her attention to detail and analytical thinking when it comes to creating projects for B2 Aviation clients.  It’s not just about being creative anymore; it’s about creative problem solving. 

Michelle Doellman

Project Manager

Michelle Doellman brings a wealth of creative and practical innovation to B2 Aviation. As project manager, Michelle creates, manages and executes experiences that enhance and elevate the typical private aviation flight. With a vast array of backgrounds in journalism, customer service and advocacy and luxury retail and resale, Michelle welcomes each project with an unmatched enthusiasm and boundless energy. While working tirelessly to make sure all client needs are exceeded, while remaining efficient and focused, Michelle shares a passion for developing new ideas into realities.

Jason Benton

Sales Partner

Jason Benton’s fascination for aviation started as a young child.  Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois summer vacation was one of the highlights of every year growing up.  Summers allotted to Jason’s most memorable encounters with airplanes and pilots.  Jason studied Business Administration at Alabama A&M University.  Due to his luxury real estate & sales background Jason became an account executive in the aviation industry in 2010 and continues to deliver pristine service to his clients worldwide.  Jason persistently provides outstanding results while working with an interdisciplinary team strengthening his interpersonal skills, which helps maintain strong relationships with celebrities, families and corporations.  Priding himself on being a peoples-person his strengths lie in connecting well with clients, timely documentation, contract compliance, eye for detail, coordinating appropriate services/ following up with clients along with maintaining client confidentiality.  Jason will and has gone the extra mile for his clients.
